So much food for the price. Friendly and quick. Everything was so fresh we should of bought more! Lol perfect.
Really hit the spot. Hamburger ( $7.50) great for a hangover. The meat was pink though?? 🤔🤔 [ Pic below is true colour, no filter ]
Seafood basket looks good. I went in here wanting to order fish and chips since I was in a holiday mood, but it’s really too hot in Brisbane for fried food.
I have finished my grocery shop at IGA many times and, ashamedly, have just as many times overlooked this local gem right next door. What a fantastic fish and chips shop. I have been here around 4 times now and I will keep coming back. Fish is always fresh and tasty – batter is always crunchy. Chips are delicious and again, always crunchy – same goes for the potato scallops. I will keep going back and am determined to try every type of fish (although the flake is excellent). Congratulations Carina Fresh Seafoods and keep up the great work. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tonight was the first time here. I ordered fish and chips, the young man sought clarification and I had cod and chips. His service was excellent, very patient and kind. I’m not sure if I had a choice but my fish was crumbed, my preference. I thought the fish was cooked well and was the right size, I think they could be more generous with the lemon tho! The serve of chips was on the small size. However, they were superbly cooked-slightly overdone to bring out the crispiness with just the right amount of salt for my taste. Well done and thanks! Will.
Ordered 2 pieces of fresh grilled snapper and was told $15.5 per piece
Chef came and took one piece from cabinet and cut in half
When I queried, I was told this is how it is!
Then got given fish that was covered in flour wash and deep fried
No refund provided when I asked and he advised me to call the police if not happy!
Good luck on successful business when u treat customers that way!
I had the choice between local or imported. I chose the local fish which cost me $15.50 for the fish only It was cold in the middle of the fish and tasteless.
We have been coming here for many years and we’re disappointed to read the recent one star review and complaint re price of snapper. This shop is extremely consistent and pleasant to deal with. The price of snapper at $15.50 is not surprising this day and age. If you want a good quality piece of fish then you have to pay. It’s pretty simple and if you want cheaper then be prepared for inconsistency. It’s great to be able to support a local business.
BEST CHIPS I’VE HAD IN YEARS!
