Amazing fish and chips the chips are super crispy and best calamari I’ve had in a while! Reasonable prices for a fish and chip pack decent size. We go here every time we are at Kirra!
I had the fish and chips March lunch special for $11. I had it 2 days in a row and loved it. The fish was fresh and the chips were great. It was a decent sized portion. The location is unbeatable right across from Kirra Beach. Staff were friendly and food was ready fast. I will definitely be back.
We are huge fans of Australian fish and chips- this placed was really good. Ordered fried battered snapper and the batter was seasoned perfectly. We also tried a fried pineapple slice and a fried potato. Everything was really good.
This place deserves a much higher rating than it currently has!
The battered fish and chips were unreal, honestly the best I’ve ever had.
Schnitzel burger was very clean and perfectly crumbed too.
Yes the price of it all is a bit expensive but nothing different to majority of other fish and chips places these days.
If it is bus though orders may take a while as expected
Friendly kid served us, food was fast, fish was really tasty. However, I’ve got a bone to pick about how on earth you can call this honest business, when your chips are barely a single layer in the box? What the heck are you doing? Just because I ordered a scallop and potato cake, doesn’t mean you use the room in the chips box to replace chips with. I would have gone back to complain but I had 4 mouths to feed with this, and we had already ridden off to set up our picnic. Very disappointing and very dishonest business.
The fish was juicy and the salad fresh – chips yummy. Great, reasonably priced fish and chips with an ever so slightly more contemporary feel than a ye old greasy fish and chip shop. Grassy areas and beach are a hop away to enjoy your meal. The pineapple fritter was a cute, cheap addition to my order.
Worst fish and chips ever! Chips tasted like they were three days old and cooked in one month old oil. Everything was packed into one container even though we ordered three fish, calamari and large chips. They didn’t even give us napkins. The fish we paid $12.95 each and it was so small and so thin and so dry. Do not waste your money here.
The surcharge on the card was 100% wrong!! It says on the sign “this is for processing costs” which is clearly untruthful as it’s out money & it doesn’t cost us or them anything to use an EPTPOS machine ? The food wasn’t as good as I’ve had as it was too soggy likely as the burger had too much lettuce in it too… The price was expensive especially the charges on the small container of sauce with it. But the best thing about it being there was a few items on the menu suitable for vegetarians &/or vegans
