8 Reviews on “Coombabah Fish Chips & Burgers”
Our new favourite local for burgers in Coombabah, the Hawaiian Burger & the Fish Burger are great, the potato scallops are some of the best we have tried, soft in the centre and crispy on the outside. Seafood sticks are tasty too. The cooks that work over the weekends never disappoint.
I rode up to Coombabah fish and chips today which is not an unusual thing for me. I got a works burger and a small chips and I must say it does not disappoint. The burger was beautiful and the chips were well cooked. I don’t know what all these reviews about the chips being under are about, every time I go there I have no complaints. The staff are always friendly when and their homemade potato scallops are the best i have had in years. Thank you Coombabah fish and chips for always having great food and looking after me.
Nice fish and chips and reasonably priced. I’ll be back to try their chicken and gravy roll deal next time I’m near Coombabah 😋
Possible the worst I’ve had! – Yhe fish was so thin they’ve had to leave the skin on to hold it together if it was even fish @10.50
The 2.50 Home made potatoe cake 🤣 was a potato scallop cooked in some mega old tasting oli.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Always consistent and delicious!
I’ve been coming here for a long time and they never miss. Fresh ingredients, generous servings, and everything is cooked just right every time. The burgers are awesome — great crunch, loads of flavour, and always served with a smile. A solid local favourite that delivers exactly what you expect, every visit. Highly recommended!
First time trying. Oil needs to be changed, potato cakes would have been great if not so brown and old oil. Chips could have been cooked longer, calamari wasn’t nice.
Still searching for a good old fish and chip shop. Sorry never again spend $75 and would have preferred maccas.
Amazing tartare sauce….the calamaris were cooked perfectly. Also very affordable.
Below average this time round, fish & chips x2 , chips we cooked in old oil & small & burnt like the last of the packet fish was ok but small & both came with 1 tiny dry bit of lemon, tartare sause was extra and tasted nice.Won’t be back & can’t recommend unfortunately.
