I was very surprised how good my fish burger was. The staff were lovely. I couldn’t believe what I got and for the price of it. And it was so awesome to meet a local and have my brunch with him and his cavalier poodle. I had to wait a bit because it is popular with the local’s. But my encounter with the person which if you can give a shoutout to please…is a memory that will stick
We treated ourselves to fish and chips for lunch.
We ordered x2 pieces of battered Flake at $14.50 each, chips and a battered sav.
One piece of fish was edible however the other was dried out and shrivelled like it had been microwaved. Not consumable. Disgusting.
Total order came to $42.
Waited 25 mins for order.
Friendly staff, decent potato scallops😊. (bonus points for having white and malt vinegar available!)

Called up and ordered a take away order, got told 10 minutes, took me 15 to drive here and I’ve now been sitting waiting for another 15… There’s also only 1 other person here with me. From the replies of the owner on previous reviews, they have no intention or desire to train their staff or improve the let’s downs they have. Save the money, find a different family run business, put your money where it’s wanted and valued.
I heard about this place on the radio and recently finding out I’m gluten intolerant, I was excited to hear they provide gluten free options. I ordered the gluten free fish and chips. Oh my days!! Just AMAZEBALLS. The picture is with my order sat on a large dinner plate. The fish was so large it did not fit on the plate. The chips and fish were gorgeous. I have half left for dinner tomorrow night as the serve was so generous. For $16, you cannot ask for better. Highly recommend to all my gluten free fellow humans. Great great great 😃
A kid only about 15 years old was cooking’s in the kitchen whilst eating a dim sim, obviously not aware of the food and hygiene standards
If you hire kids at least teach them the rules

I ordered the goldband snapper. I paid $18 for it. My hand was longer than it and the batter was brown. Upon tasting it, it was rubbery. The teenagers were overwhelmed and were angry with each other.
I was highly disappointed with the meal we received tonight. I loved this fish and chip shop, but given the second time that we had items missing from our order and the food being overcooked, really wasn’t worth the cost and eating. I dont think a third time can be warranted. I totally understand that you can get busy, but seriously double check your orders, staple the bag for uber drivers to not interfere with orders and with the price of the order you do expect a good meal. Little things like this can destroy a business. Possibly will be finding a new fish and chip shop much to my disappointment
