Pre-ordered went in to pay and notice that they had forgotten some of our food lucky enough they were able to rectify the situation service was a little lacking not much of a smile place was a little bit dirty but fish and chips was ok
I ordered twice this week. Sunday night I went in right at closing, I forgot to check closing time, they were still super happy to serve me and cook my fish and chips and potato scallops. The food was fast, fresh and perfectly cooked. It was amazing! The chips were perfect, the Barramundi was perfectly cooked and these might be the best potato scallops on the coast!
Wednesday I ordered a hamburger and chips and it was pretty good! The staff are all really nice. I will definitely be back, obviously, since I’ve been twice in one week!
Fish was cooked perfectly, asked for lemon and got extra lemon (which we really appreciated) potato scallops are home made and delicious. Good selection of fish (we had flake) and will be back.
Oh my…finally found a place that actually does their own batter, and doesn’t just cook pre-cooked frozen product! The homemade potato scallops were outstanding, and worth a visit all on their own. However, the pricing is extremely reasonable, and I know that a lot of the uni students from nearby love this shop, as they can get good chips to feed a group at a decent price. Five stars – can’t wait to visit again on my next trip to Sippy Downs…
Grabbed dinner here Christmas Eve and we will never be going back, highly recommend avoiding this place.
Ordered snapped which you can usually never go wrong with being one more expensive dish everywhere, there was 2 pieces, the big piece pictured below and a small bit, I have small but to my 1 year old son before I broke this bit up and tried it, it tasted off so I had a good look at it and also looked terrible. Unfortunately my son had ate half his before I realised and took it off him, ended up sick a vomiting toddler with upset stomach over Christmas Eve night.
Use to grab dinner here regularly, we took a break after we ordered Barra last time and came with skin cooked on it under the batter.. now this. Read other reviews of off smelling and tasting fish, doesn’t seem to be a one off.
I’ve been buying burgers from Fish N Chips for years. Hadn’t been there for awhile, had a hankering for a burger the other day and they didn’t disappoint. It was an absolute ripper. 😋😋😋😁 Sometimes it is hard to find consistency, these guys nailed it. Well done. 🙏

A lovely place to grab some fish and chips. The service is top tier and the girl who answers the phone is very sweet and professional! Food was amazing!! We will be back!
