Best fish and chips by far in Brisbane. Ordered the crumbed salmon, chips, kabana, and calamari. Husband and I finished it instantly. Happy tummy. Value for money as well. We will definitely come back. Yums!
Amazing food. The chips were so crispy and the burger was splendid. The owner was so nice and generous bringing the food to our table. Would definitely come here again.
Pasta salad is creamy & tasty. the fish burger is the size of your face packed with fresh, hot fish. absolutely delicious.

If you went to high school in the 80’s, there was probably a takeaway shop next door everyone went to. This is that takeaway shop. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time.

Big jims is the kind of joyfully nostalgic place I go to when I’m just craving a big old burger, they’re always friendly, the food is excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable. It’s no fine dining experience, but the old school setup is part of the charm.
