Stumble upon this place after avoiding harbour town with all the rain and it didn’t disappoint. 2 kids nuggets and chips. Barramundi, snapper, 8x calamari, 2 potato scallops and a large chip for around $80. In the end we brought home the large chips as the pieces of fish were so big. But it wasn’t the size that impressed us, instead it was the quality. So fresh and tasted great. The only thing that didn’t give it 5 stars was the stickiness and cleanliness of the tables of when we sat down. It was a 1:45pm stop in so maybe just after the lunch rush.

Fantastic Fish & Chips!! We bought a $58 Fish Bites #3 deal and it was a mountain of food and included 3 cans of drink!! The fish was so good, they’re large portions and it was light and flakey.
Potato Scallops, awesome.

Sorry but my experience was not ideal. Extremely disappointing. First up, as I approached the stairs to go up to this little shop I was met with the putrid smell & 2nd hand smoke of the cooks smoking (they wore monogrammed uniforms) then the service from the young bloke was lack lustre & he wasn’t interested in my questions or perhaps working, at all. I’m new here, never eaten there before. That shouldn’t matter, every customer is important it shouldn’t be that hard. One only other customer sitting at the filthy tables. Wouldn’t you think with it being so quiet the staff standing chatting behind the counter could find 10 minutes to clean the few tables they have. Sweep the filth up off the small floor area they have there. The fish was a decent size but disappointingly dry & tasteless. The prawn cutlet was one of the factory frozen. I bit into it & got a mouthful of greasy crumb, no prawn so I decided to scrape the rest of the crumb off which left a tiny little bit of tasteless rubber. Since it is not a product actually made by them, they can’t be to blame however they’re on the Gold Coast over looking the sea, I would want to serve fresh crumbed real prawns. All inedible really. The chips were really nice & a generousserve but didn’tmake up for the rest. I won’t be back. I’ve already told my new neighbours, new friends all of which had never heard of this shop. Lots of other food & dining options in this strip that are hopefully better, just not this dingy little shop sadly. What a total waste; of opportunity, of food, of $21.
Our new favourite fish and chip place. Chips are excellent and crispy, the fish is a good size with a great crumb. The calamari is our favourite- best we’ve had in a long time! Thick cut and excellent crumb again.
Also had a noodle salad bowl that was well made and a good portion. Didn’t get one but Bahn mis look tasty too.

The food was really delicious and $16 for fish chips and a drink is really good, especially since the portion size was so large I had to save half for dinner too!! So yummy and not too oily!! 😋
Best fish and chips on the Gold Coast. Always cooked perfect and the best beer battered chips ever. I keep thinking I’m going to try the Banh Mi rolls but can’t get past the fish and chips. Excellent friendly service every time.
Great takeaway dinner last night. Salads are large and great servings for the calamari and chips. Crispy and well crumbed. The young man behind the counter was friendly and very busy.
