I always want to find a seafood market where I could eat lots of different oysters, fresh lobster and king prawns in Brisbane. This is so far this is the best. The mussels were very fresh and properly cleaned. We tried the Sydney rocks, a bit too dried, while the coffin bay were fresh and fantastic. Fish n chips was very crisp and fried to perfection.
They had a lobster special, typically lobsters are unavailable here. Its definitely 😋 they should consider having it on the menu.
I felt the prawns wasn’t as sweet or succulent. Oysters were better than average.
Delicious food, wasn’t too oily, nice seasoning, good service. Parking was very easy on a Saturday afternoon as well. Would definitely come back when we’re craving seafood
Quality seafood at great prices. Always get my fresh seafood from Fish Factory and they supply all the major establishments around Brisbane. I regularly frequent the attached bistro for their in-house dining
The fish n chips here are excellent! Fish was fresh, they use clean oil to cook (can tell by the colour of cooked food that the oil they cook in isn’t old)
Can sit inside or outside to eat
The fresh fish selection is plentiful
Price of fish n chips is a bit high $28 for the pack (battered snapper, chips & salad)
$18 for single (fish on its own)
Although the price is high, you get good quality food
The mud crab sliders were amazing. Lite, crispy, built nicely. Delicious!!
The fish, was fresh but a little over cooked.
Huge portions and great pricing.
Just want to say thankyou to the amazing staff for their excellent service today. It was beyond busy, and they handled it with ease. The traffic control outside, the staff inside serving everyone, the floor management keeping the situation under control. We were there for 40mins from the beginning of our wait in the line to when we got back to the car, and at no moment did it feel like we were waiting ‘too long’. Everyone was polite and calm and in turn kept your customers calm – you handled this Xmas fantastically! Thankyou for the seafood!
Been here like 3 times already and I always eat the garlic cream mussels bowl, but the last time I ordered it only tastes like butter and very strong garlicky taste not creamy at all, not enjoyable. Everything else is good and fresh.
