Our new regular. Chips are generous, especially compared to other local places. The food is ready when they say, so no waiting around for lengthy periods of time. Their food is always fresh and hot and they answer their phone so ordering is a lot less of a hassle.10/10
What an awesome experience! Went to get dinner and 2 young kids couldn’t pay for their meal, the young bloke (couldn’t see his name) paid for the meal for them so they didn’t go without! The food was absolutely amazing for the price and the service was well above any other fish and chip shop I’ve been too. I was very very impressed, this is my go to from now on. Pics don’t do justice.
Unfortunately did not have the best experience last night which is a real bummer being this is our regular fish n chip shop. We ordered online $10 worth of chips, 1 fish, 1 fish burger and some scallops. Arrived and handed the food and was reassured that was everything. When we returned home we noticed there was no burger so we had to drive back again. Picked up the burger and came home for it to be chicken and not fish which we then had to drive back again. Not happy with this experience.
We ordered 4 potato cakes and one corn dog. Reminded of Ballarat. Service was beautiful
I bought dinner tonight and my whole experience was a nightmare. I arrived at the time of my online sms to pick up soggy, mushy undercooked chips. Asked for extra chicken salt and no salt at all. I returned to only be shamed and blamed that it was my fault cause I took to long to pick it up which is a lie. I am a local and a regular customer. That ended tonight due to bad food and bad customer service.
Food tastes like it has been reheated; like a toughness/chewiness to it.
This place used to be really good. Not sure if there are new owners but it has steadily gone downhill in recent times. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and kept trying to see if things improved but after this last time, unfortunately we won’t be back.
Ordered for our family of 2 adults, three children. Kids ordered a Dagwood dog each, calamari and chips – plus fish, burgers, 3 potato scallops, seafood sticks and spring rolls for adults. Collected order, get home, not one single Dagwood dog and only two potato scallops. Paid for everything. Tried calling multiple times as we travelled 15 minutes to order and collect. Pathetic that a phone call can’t even be answered. Over charged and didn’t receive what we ordered. Wouldn’t recommend.
The owner contacted us and explained they had shut early that night and that is why we couldn’t get a hold of anyone. He reimbursed us on the food we didn’t receive and offered compensation on our next order. We did order again, and the food was great, we received everything and I’d be happy to return and order again. Thank you for taking accountability and winning our business back.
Our potato scallops and chips were undercooked and nearly cold. The fish and Dagwood dog was nice but could have been hotter.
We only live 5 minutes away. Very disappointed as it’s usually good food.
