Went here for the 1st time, family members come here often and rave on about the shop, didn’t disappoint.
I had the Deluxe fish (barramundi) and chips + whiting and chips.
Chips were cooked perfectly, soft inside, crispy outside.
Both gluten free battered fish were amazing, best I’ve had in Queensland.
Prices are reasonable for eating out, staff very friendly, would recommend to come visit, i certainly will be back.
We had the seafood box and asked for extra shrimp instead of the 2 fresh oysters and 2 mussels — everything was super fresh and tasty! The $9 Wednesday fish and chips deal was great value our total came down to $48 including one bottle of Mountain Dew, and there were other daily specials too. Friendly staff and a clean, relaxed spot. Highly recommend!

The Fish Tank is hands down one of the best places to eat around. The burgers and portion sizes are unreal for the price, and honestly still the best burger I’ve had by far. I highly recommend everyone try the Angry Bird burger — it’s next level.
Big shout-out to the owners, especially Andy and his partner. My partner and I were regulars at the Southport store for over 3 years, and even after moving, we’ve made the effort to come back — now visiting the Pimpama location a few times, and it’s just as amazing.
This place is easily the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve yet to find better food anywhere else. Keep doing what you’re doing 👏🍔

Burgers and chips on point. Good quailty and Tasty as!!! Highly recommend. You can always tell when a place takes care of its oil its going to be a decent feed.
Absoloutly amazing place, went with my dad for lunch, nice and cool inside to escape the heat.
He got the fish burger 2 course meal and I got the vegetarian burger and chips, both were very large portions and really nice.
Good music and volume as well, just all round a nice atmosphere. ❤️
Amazing place to eat fresh seafood! The Burgers are better at The Fish Tank. My friend ordered a seafood box and the variety you get is insane! 2 fresh oysters, muscles, and 4 prawns with a fish fillet on top of a bed of beautifully seasoned and beautifully cooked chips, served with a side of fresh salad, dressed in sesame soy dressing. My double beef burger is succulent and tasty, juicy and just fill your mouth to the point that if you wanted to talk, nothing but ‘mm mm mm mmmm’ is coming out~ the owners here are so friendly and charming, they give this place such a welcoming vibe and it’s lovely to eat here. 11/10 would definitely come back with more friends!
Has to be the best value, and best quality fish and chips EVER. This place never disappoints us every time we go. The staff go over and beyond to ensure you have a great meal. Being old farts we share meals, and they are happy to cater for this. Their specials are particularly good value and No one leaves hungry.
