This is not our normal fish & chip shop. We are new to the area and found everything of good quality.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, and had a sense of humour. The shop was clean and fridges were well stocked with cold drinks.
The fish was cooked well and stayed hot for the drive home. Chips were great.
Will be coming back again for more.
The absolute best old school burger I’ve had in a long time. Generous amount of ingredients and tasty, home made meat paddy. Forget the big burger chains, this local take away is the best. Good price as well, for amount, quality and freshness. I am coming back. 10/10👍👍👍
had their hamburger with the works. tasty and packed with flavour. well presented unlike most burgers where they’re rushly assembled with sauce and stuff all falling out.

As you walk in (or even near) this store you will notice the smell of old frying oil. This smell is what all of the food ordered from this place tastes like. If you don’t like that smell, you won’t like the food. The store is extremely hot and humid and no care has been taken for customer comfort. Not even a cheap fan. Uncomfortable seating. Bare minimum of seats. In fact it is a Bare minimum kind of store, so don’t be surprised by the bare minimum standards of quality and cleanliness.
Love the burgers & chips here. 🍔🍟 Highly recommended. Not sure what these other 1-star reviews are on about,🤔🤷 I’ve been coming here for a while now and the food has ALWAYS been amazing … but don’t take my word for it, if you ever want to level up ⬆️ from Maccas and KFC then try this place (for real) you won’t be disappointed.😋👌
I brought hoki a cabana and chips on Sunday 17/08/2025 and to find out my fish was half raw but I was to far to come back for a refund or another fish..
One of the best burgers I’ve had in ages. I’ve been looking for a good old-fashion takeaway shop burger for a while now & this place ticked all the right boxes for me. 🍔✅
I also love that you can make it a combo deal with chips and can of drink for $15 in-store or $16.80 online (at time of this review) which is great value plus a welcome change from the local fast food joints. ✨
Update 28/06/25: I’ve been coming here for a while now and the food has been 10/10 everytime. It’s now become a weekly treat at the end of the working week that I look forward to and highly recommend to anyone else who wants an old-school burger with (the lot) just like the old days. 🍔🍟

The man that works here is so rude and should really not be in a front facing, customer service role! Got angry just because I changed my order around, and couldn’t supply any tissues or napkins with my burger meal!
That’s 2 red flags for me, what business sais to a customer they have no napkins?
Change your ways going into the new year I suggest!
