About
Fish’s Seafood Market in Teneriffe has built a strong reputation among locals and visitors alike, with well over four and a half stars across a healthy number of reviews. The menu stretches well beyond a typical fish and chip shop, offering classic battered cod and crispy beer-battered chips alongside barramundi, Atlantic salmon, dory, and creamy garlic prawns. The chips are a particular talking point, with regulars consistently praising them as some of the finest in Brisbane. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, so there’s something for most dietary needs.
The space is set up for proper sit-down meals, with outdoor seating, a salad bar, and a kids’ menu making it a solid choice for families and groups. Dine-in, takeaway, and delivery are all on offer, and the venue is wheelchair accessible with free street parking nearby. Dogs are welcome too, which makes it a practical stop for those out and about in the Teneriffe area.
Beyond the seafood, the menu ventures into Greek territory, with dishes like lamb gyros drawing plenty of curiosity and repeat visits. The hot and cold seafood platter for two is a generous option that regulars suggest can stretch across a larger table. Friendly, accommodating service and late trading hours round out the experience, whether it’s a quick takeaway run or a relaxed meal with a group.

Very tasty. Great customer service. And had a great meal here. Appreciate the late hours and there is plenty of seating.
We have been craving a decent fish and chips since moving to Brisbane from UK 2 years ago, and have finally found somewhere that does not disappoint.
Food was excellent. Proper cod, crispy batter, amazing coleslaw!
Service was friendly, and price is very reasonable.
Will be back for sure!
Great fish and chip shop, they do Greek food too, will be back to try that! Chips are definitely best in Brisbane, beer battered & crispy
The hot & cold seafood platter for 2 was ginormous, and shared by 4 adults with another order of a lamb gyros. Everything was exceptional from the freshness to the plating! Will be back for more. They were also friendly and accommodating with our request of swapping chips with another salad!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Fresh, quick and delicious. Would recommend the grilled salmon and steak sandwich 🥪 stopped in during a walk so appreciated the cold table water 💦
Great fish and chips, the chips were not the traditional British styles which some might hold true to but what they had worked for me as they were so crispy even when they turned cold. Good double frying technique maybe?
Fish was fresh and the batter was not soggy, added a side of broccoli salad. It’s a big serving if you are not a big eater. Well priced as it is in a suburb and enjoyed a quiet Sunday lunch.
The lady who served me, who looked like the owner, was friendly and helpful.
Just went here like right now for lunch ordered a chicken burger, chips and a drink! I can say OMG IT WAS AMAZING. The food was delicious, the service amazing, the girl at the counter gave me free sauce because I forgot to buy one, she was super nice. The guy that brought me out the food was happy and energetic. The chef made an amazing dish. $32 for chips, burger, drink and sauce is a bargain especially when it tastes this good!
Great fish and chip shop—they also serve Greek food. The fish was fresh and the batter was crispy, not soggy. It would be even better if there were more varieties of oysters. The prices were reasonable for a suburban spot.
It’s a great casual place with a relaxed atmosphere, a bit like an outdoor food court. Zac is a friendly guy with a smile, and the staff won’t disturb you, which makes it easy to enjoy your meal.
One small suggestion would be to clean the seating area more often. Will definitely be back!
