Service was good, fish pieces were good, unfortunately the very few chips in the box were under cooked and soggy. The amount of money charged versus the quantity and quality of what was in the box are worlds apart. Very disappointing!!
What is a visit to the beach without a good serving of fish and chips? Several of the other establishments were closed, so we traveled a fair distance to get our fix. Ned had our back. 2 crumbed sweet lips and some chips, and some coke to wash it all down. Went to the park cross the road, nice and quiet. The fish was first class, chips were nice and tasty. Could have been crispier, but I am not marking it down because it was so good. Definitely will be back.
Wonderful service and very helpful. I have Coeliac Disease and they have a gluten free batter and a separate fryer for cooking gluten free chips.
Thoroughly disappointed, have been going to Ned’s By The Bay since I moved, however I received a very greasy Fisherman’s Basket today, usually my meals were wrapped in paper to absorb some of the oil, the chips were really undercooked and I couldn’t eat them, and the fish was too greasy to enjoy, unfortunately I won’t be going back anymore 🙁
great place for fish and chips, across from a local park and the beach. staff are great and haven’t had a bad piece of fish yet!!
Great takeaway fish and chips. Burger was nice. Service was lovely. Wait time wasn’t bad at all considering it was peak lunch time. Would def recommend.
We stopped to pick up dinner here tonight Flake chip prawn cutlets & potato cakes —delicious. Definitely best fish & chips in town definitely recommend this takeaway. Friendly service, normal wait times. Cost reasonable same as other places.
We had Snapper and chips at Neds seafood. All came with a good size serving of chips and lemon pieces. The Snapper was large, perfectly cooked (crumbed) and delicious. Each served in a cardboard box. Really great food, highly recomend Ned’s fish snd chips at Torquay, Hervey bay. (Also lovely park opposite to enjoy your meal with a water vuew too) 👍😊
