First time ordering fish and chips here. Friendly service, Sweetlip battered fish and chips so delicious. Cooked to perfection we will be back thanks for making our holiday GREAT 😁
My friend Peter is the best maker of hamburgers, and today was no exception. The feed consists of the delicious mince patties, bacon, egg, onion, tomato, lettuce, pineapple, beetroot and barbecue sauce. I thoroughly recommend this hidden gem when you are after a mouthwatering feed.
Pete was so friendly and our whiting and chips bundle was all that and more. Panko breadcrumbs, chips and fish not fatty and the oil used fresh. You can taste the difference. You want some good F&C then this is your place. 5⭐️
I have visited Hendo’s twice this week and I had my fish and chips and milkshake inside. I received a friendly service and enjoyed eating in a relaxed atmosphere with lovely music in the background. My food was prepared well and I found it delicious!
I forgot to take pictures, but we are from the sunny coast and we bought dinner lastnight at Hendo’s and it’s one of the best fish n and chips I’ve had in so long! My whole family were so impressed! Not oily, classic crisp chips. Dagwood dog crunchy and fluffy, fish 10/10 and gosh the the handmade potatoe scallops were just divine!! We will certainly be back! 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
After a big Drive to the Bay with the family, found somewhere to order food ordered at 6:15pm didnt get food until near 7:30pm everyone that ordered after me got theres and I was one of the last ones left past closing time. Then was told that they missed part of order and it wont be long when mentioning the length of time it took it just got brushed/ laughed off.
Here is your true old School Australian Milk Bar. Lots to choose from. The store is nothing fancy and honestly could do with a good make over, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the service was friendly and the food was actually enjoyable. Some questionable locals hanging around in the car park doing what looked to be a drug deal in braud day light. Prices are okay, not not the most expensive, but not the cheapest also. Worth a try for yourself.
Great prawn cutlets. Chips were good too. Some different items not seen elsewhere like his chicken kebabs which hubby enjoyed.
Shop was very hot, quite uncomfortable to wait in. Advise phoning order through.
