Worth the Walk From The Beach
Tasty, good service and quick … what’s not to like? You can tell it’s a place that locals come for a tasty, cheap lunch or dinner. A bulletin board full of quirky ads and notices gives you something to look at while your order is prepared fresh.
A good choice of types of fish and you can get them “battered, crumbed or plain.”
Yum.

I was here on New Years Day and the staff did look a little run off their feet. One of the cooks was cracking jokes for my kids but which was lovely!
The chips are lovely and very thick! we bought 2 larges for a family of 7 and absolutely loved it. Aylen served us at the counter and was friendly and very helpful. we tried to take a photo of the chips, but they were demolished before we could take a good picture! we will be back very soon, thank you for everything!
Such a shame to have had the food be so poor, as the team there genuinely seem so lovely and hardworking. Unfortunately though, our entire meal was way too oily and it seems as if the oil in the fryer was burnt.. as it all came out covered in black particles and tasted awful, didn’t end up eating most of it because it just tasted like we were eating the bottom of a burnt bbq 😞
My husband and I got a seafood basket and a reef pack. Great value for money. Good amount of chips each and a big piece of fish. More than we could eat.
Used to love Who’s cookin used the be the best !!, however i thought i would give the new people a good, might have been a one off, but honestly i wouldn’t go back to try again!. Their gravy was basically water, chips and cheese with “chicken salt” to feed 2 people, we didn’t receive any salt at all and the “serve for two” probably wouldn’t have fed one of us however ate one chip and instantly turned off unfortunately, I could keep going but less to say our whole meal wasn’t edible. I personally hate being that person put another place down but I honestly couldn’t have helped myself to write a review :(. – 5starts,
Well I have been getting fish and chips from Who’s Cooking for years. The new owners have absolutely no idea how to cook or crumb fish its so thick my husband and I pull it off, my husband got a surprise one time pulling a black long hair out of the crumbs. Won’t be going back Seagulls and Cedar Park are go to now.
Very hit and miss this place. Some days it is good but other times it is really bad. Ordered a reef pack this afternoon and there was no way that was reef fish. Couldn’t help but notice the smell of rancid oil while waiting for my order and now I feel sick. Please change your oil regularly and be more consistent with what you serve
