Orderd Pizza with lot no problem with that thankgod atleast we had somthing to eat.
My problem is the seafood chest I received and paid 43.90 for.
Did not have fish.
Plastic tartar tubs were melted over the seafood chest discusting. I called as soon as I got home and 3 of my calls not answered.
Called for refuned but we will see 50$ wasted un edible.

I was just charge full price for this ‘mushroom skewers’ after waiting an hour for my food, I was also delivered an empty bag with a note saying they had no vegan parmigiana packs and a refund for that item inside. So, now my family are eating and I am hungry. Their phone is ringing out – why wouldn’t they call and ask what else I would like for dinner? Not the first disappointment – I’ll never eat here again.
DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE! Clearly new owners that are not Australian. Waited 25 mins more than the stated time. Squid is like pork crackle. Schnitzel way over cooked. Chips even too hard to feed our toddler. Yiros served on a pizza base with stale lettuce and tartare sauce. Charged and provided 2 yiros when we ordered one, cannot understand English very well.
Went in for the first time this afternoon, and was delighted. It’s got a lovely and clean open kitchen, so you can see your food being prepared, and plenty of seating inside and out. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are friendly. I had a Margherita Pizza made by Simran which was fabulous and came out quickly. Will definitely be going again next time I’m in the area.
Definitely the best fish and chip takeaway in the area. Fish and chips were hot and freshly made with a super generous portion of chips! Loved the community noticeboard on the front window.
We always go to the shack when we visit pt Willunga (several times a year). We clearly hadn’t been for a while as new owners have taken over and it’s now terrible. We ordered lots of chips plus fish for 6 people. The chips were inedible! Cold and soggy. Undercooked. None of us could eat them.
Asked for battered fish but got grilled.
Cost $90. Expensive and awful.
Absolutely disgusting. I’m don’t like saying bad things about other small businesses, however this place should not be allowed to trade. They are going to make someone sick! They clearly have no clue about food safety.
Ordered take away last night. It was awful. Salad was mouldy, hot dog was inedible. Chips were ok, barely any gravy, paid extra for cheese on the chips and gravy, didn’t get it. Fish was ok. Unfortunately my husband threw out the salad before I could take a photo. 0/10 do not recommend.
Also commented on their Facebook page and they blocked me from their page within seconds.
This is the worst take away business and service I’ve been too. Order was placed online at 6.00pm and their pick up time was 7pm. Arrived at 6.55pm, walked out at 745pm (1hr 45 min wait). Queried wait time twice only to be told “not too much longer”. Ordered a falafel yiros with multiple other items. Told at 7.20pm they have no falafel! What! Would we like something else instead? Ordered a vege burger. Queried wait again at 7.40pm. “Sorry we don’t have any vege burger”. What the! Refunded for the yiros only. One of the items (a shack burger) was meant to come with chips as paid extra $4 for them. No chips given with order! So after 1hr 45 mins, we received our food. No ‘sincere’ apology given, no discount for terrible service or extra long wait times. No discount for messing us around with not having the ingredients being offered for sale. Unfortunately, the 4 x customers in before us also had issues of types. This should have been a sign. Highly likely all of these customers (including us) will not return which is a shame because in the past years this has always been a good spot! Clearly under new ownership and will not survive with this business model. Highly not recommended, go to the other 2-3 takeaways in the area. Only positive, Food received was nice but doesn’t make up for the horrible experience.
