About
Pacific Fish & Chips is a takeaway spot in Salisbury North that has built a loyal following for solid, affordable seafood and fried food classics. The menu centres on fish and chips, and regulars point to the generous portion sizes as a real drawcard. Three serves of fish with chips reportedly comes in under thirty dollars, making it a practical choice for families after a no-fuss dinner.
The shop is family-friendly and has a kids’ menu, which suits the Salisbury North crowd well. Chips are noted for being non-greasy, and the fish portions are described as good-sized rather than skimpy. Beyond the classic fish and chip shop staples, the menu also extends to items like steak sandwiches and chicken fillet burgers, all made fresh to order.
Service is generally described as friendly, though waits can stretch during busy periods, so phoning ahead for larger orders is a sensible move. It is worth noting that reviews are genuinely mixed. A number of long-time regulars feel the shop has dipped in consistency over time, with some citing changes to the chips and uneven quality across visits. Others, however, still rate it as their favourite fish and chip shop in Salisbury and speak highly of both the food and the staff.
On balance, Pacific Fish & Chips holds a solid four-plus star reputation across a healthy number of reviews, suggesting most visitors leave satisfied. Check opening hours before heading over, as this one is takeaway only.

My meals today were fabulous.
I’ll definitely be back for another steak sandwich & chicken fillet burger, wasn’t processed
All made fresh
Thank you
This used to be one of the best fish and chip shops in the area. Unfortunately, their chips changed at one point from golden brown delicious to these horrible yellow things (pre-prepped and bought in??!) They actually made my Mum sick. The chickens are still Steggles though, and very good. Better than the pigeon-sized offerings at Drakes. We stopped going there, such a pity when to save cents they lose dollars.
No longer good.
High prices
While the servicing sizes seemed to have improved the quality is below average
We would come here quite often however each time the food is worse.
We won’t be back now
Since kids hasn’t let me down beautiful owners always have been
Did go there for first time.
In AB pack, no tomato no onion, not add ons offered such as sauce
