Great fish and chips pack with 2 pieces fish only $8!!! Chicken schnitzel pack $13. They were delicious.
We had a great time sitting in the little yard having our lunch here. Also noticed they offered free meal for people who need it. Such a nice gesture. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
We ordered butterfish, chips and gravy. The portions were generous. The price was good. The fish was locally sourced from Pirates Sea Chest. The batter quality was good. Chips were nice and crisp. The premises were clean and nicely decorated with pictures. Toilets on the premises. Outdoor dining tables available. Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was prompt.
We got some gummy shark, medium chips and some salt and pepper squid..
The chips were huge for 2 people, they were cooked and salted perfectly. I’m getting hungry thinking about them as I write this.
The shark was amazing .
I didn’t get a photo of the squid as I ate it so fast! I normally don’t order salt and pepper squid as it’s so greasy, this was hands down the best one I’ve had in all of Australia ( I’ve been travelling around for 1.5 years ) i had almost stopped buying fish n chips as I’m usually disappointed away from home but these will be so hard to beat.
Great customer service from the young guy with bleached hair.
Thankyou !
Popped in today for lunch. Ordered a hamburger, a fisherman’s basket, steak sandwich, chips and a drink. Pricey for the whole family order, it was nice, but I wouldn’t call $70+ nice. My burger was oily and sloppy but tasted nice, eaten deconstructed, as it fell apart.
Daughter liked her steak sandwich. Chips were yummy 😋 salad my husband had was nice, but the fish was over cooked a little but nice. The squid didn’t look appealing and the crumbs were oily and didn’t stick to the squid or prawns, but was eatable. With the wait on our order to be cooked, I would not have expected my burger to look the way it was and the squid would have been cooked better. As I said, nice, but not $70+ nice.
Went with my girlfriend; service was really friendly, and the shops inside and out were really nice, with heaps of seats. Our critique is that the serving size for the fish is tiny for what you pay for. Whilst the quality of the fish is great, the size of it is tiny. I paid 6 bucks for butterfish and 9 for a garfish. The butterfish was like 5 inches, and the garfish was only an inch bigger. We got a medium chips, and the serving was huge, but overall I would say it is a little overpriced for what you get. Gravy was BANGIN’ tho.
The fish and chips tasted amazing. The service leaves a lot to be desired. If you want a greeting by a child that likely prefers to be gaming then working then this is the place. In saying this, the serving size and the quality of food is fantastic.
Fabulous fish, calamari and prawns with a great drink selection. Definitely recommend. Lovely place to sit and eat your take away outside.
Google reviews were good so stopped here for lunch, an epic fail…everything was so salty it was inedible. An extra dollar per serve if you wanted Tartare sauce…..and, unbelievably, if you wanted a piece of lemon, it would cost you 50c. The only saving grace was, we could sit outside with our fur baby however, that didn’t make up for the substandard food. Avoid at all costs……A total waste of almost $50 for 3 lots of fish and chips, which incidentally went in the bin…..
