Best fish and chips around. Great prices. Service was awesome, nothing too much trouble for these guys. Chicken schnitzel burgers are HUGE, highly recommend giving one a go.
This place is so good it’s actually bad for me, because I keep eating fish and chips way often than normal. But sometimes it’s so hard to resist knowing that these guys are just down the road. I normally get 1 or 2 cadets packs, super good value, especially for a uni student I can’t afford much more XD and I LOVE the potato cakes here. Cooked to perfection.

Food was over cooked and tasted stale . Ordered a Flake which was tiny as . Very unpleasant. Called to voice concern as am regular and usually food is better only to be told oh it is ok . Advised it’s not acceptable and what would they do about to be told nothing !
Always go there for dinner, the best fish n chips in the town, low price but with best quality 😉 especially their burgers by the lady
Chips are extremely delicious, especially when seasoned with chicken salt. I highly recommend them to everyone. Potato cakes are also very tasty.
This was my favourite fish and chip shop. Emphasis on WAS. They seem to have recently changed the batter and it’s no where near as good. Used to have the best potato cakes you could imagine. We threw out most of the potato cakes this time and scraped the batter off the fish. Not sure if new owners (most likely) or cutting costs…. Very sad. But still better than the chain places.
I recently saw a post about the potato cakes at Vithos Fish and Chips in Bentleigh East on a Facebook page I follow for potato cake enthusiasts. I tried them, and they tasted great, but the size of each potato cake was disappointing considering the price of $2.50 each on Ubreeats. 4 stars for flavour, 1 star for the value on what you get per cake.
