This shop is under new management and the quality of food and service is now much much better. New management is very nice, cooperative. Wait time wasn’t long and most importantly the food was really good. Great to have them under new owners. Wish them all the very best

Got a Deluxe Burger and it was delicious!!! Good value, staff member was super friendly, put in a lot of care to the order to make sure it was as good as possible. Found a really good local fish and chip spot (photo doesnt do it justice)

I’ve been a regular at The Avenue Fish ‘n Chips lately, and I’ve got to say, the new management has absolutely transformed this place. It’s easily the cleanest, friendliest fish and chippery in Cranbourne North, and the value for money is spot on.
What makes this place a standout is the menu. They do the classics perfectly, but it’s the Middle Eastern influence that really levels things up.
The Highlights:
• The Seafood: My absolute favorites are the battered barramundi and the crab sticks. The barra is always flaky and fresh, and the batter is golden and crunchy without being a grease-trap.
• The “Middle Eastern Touch”: If you’re after something hearty, their HSPs are top-tier. They also do a biryani which is a massive (and delicious) surprise for a local chippery.
• Service with a Smile: The team there are legends. Always welcoming, genuinely friendly, and they clearly take pride in keeping the shop spotless.
• Fair Prices: You get a proper feed without breaking the bank, which is rare to find these days.

While the service was a solid 5/5, the food was a bit of a mixed bag. The meal was a little too oily for my liking, and the tea had a distinct herbal flavor that I wasn’t quite expecting.
Overall, it’s a nice spot with a great team, but a few tweaks to the preparation would make it perfect!
We had breakfast at this fantastic spot, and it was an unforgettable experience! The Pakistani-style halwa puri was absolutely delicious, paired perfectly with fluffy puris, spicy chana, and the tangy achari pyaz. The flavors were authentic and bursting with taste, truly a treat for anyone craving traditional Pakistani breakfast dishes. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a rich, flavorful start to their day! You won’t be disappointed!
I asked the older man behind the counter if the chicken bits I was spicy bc i cant handle spicy food and he proceeded w a confusing word salad about wha differnt cultures call mild and i asked him to compare how mild to a butter chicken and he rambled something about it not being too spicy so i purchased it for $13 andgot it home andit was the spiciest mouthful of food ive had in years and can felt like it was burning my mouth for hours. It was the last shop open so the only reason I bought from this shop but i do not recommend this shop at all. If I could give less stars I would
