Great to see the family is back in the shop! great fish and chips! perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! So kind when we walked in the door!! 10/10
Fantastic fish and chips. First time visiting this shop and was super happy with all the food. Flake was fresh and tasty, a few extra bits and pieces were thrown in for free too.
A tip, if you pay cash and spend over $50 you get a free 1.25L drink. Support your local businesses and pay cash when you can! 👍
I ordered from here for the first time and unfortunately there were three long individual strands of hair in the batter of the pineapple fritter that I managed to pull out 🙁
The old owners are back — and the food has never been fresher!
We ordered ahead for a family get-together, and everything was packed individually just as requested. The meals were fresh, full of flavour, and made with care. We even got a little extra surprise treat — such a lovely gesture.
Highly recommend!

Had fish and chips from here for the first time yesterday after moving to the area and it was absolutely delicious! Our flake was super fresh and potato cakes were to die for. We will absolutely be adding this to our regular takeaway regime! Thank you to Paul, Peter and Mary, cannot recommended trying here enough
Great food, classic fresh fish n chips at a reasonable price and cooked to a good standard. Oil clearly well maintained and the foods not drowning in it after it’s served up. The owner even poked a small hole in the bag to prevent it my food steaming up on the way home, little things like that show a lot of care.
I moved down to Victoria from Queensland and have found it hard to find good fish and chips, but this is delicious. I’m calling it – probably the best I’ve had. I’m not sure why the reviews are low because it doesn’t reflect the quality, taste and service.
I have decided to check out a couple of Fish and Chip places in my local area. Went to this place as a starting point. I must say I was happy. Battered Flake and Potato cakes were the same score. 4.5 out of 5. Dim Sim tasted like it is Chein Wah. That is an added bonus. Some Dim Sims are rubbish. Shop was spotless. 100% good option. As a comparison, I went to Plaza Fish and chips a few days after. Plaza was just ok.
Mr Chips and Yellowtail to go.
