Googled for Fish & Chips on our way to Frankston Beach and this store popped up. I have to say it was a good suggestion. Affordable prices. Fresh fish. Had the Dory pack that came with 1 fish, 1 dim sim, 1 potato cake +chips. Cheap & yum!
Blue Grenadier was yummy, but a bit overcooked. No serviettes or lemon with fish, dim sims & souvlaki. Fish & dimsims were 5/10 & souvlaki 8/10.
Overall food wasnt bad, but could be a lot better. The steak sandwich was beautiful but the potato cakes were severely overcooked to the point they were basically inedible. The homemade dimsims were also a little over cooked as were the battered savs.
The steak sandwich was really good. Nicely cooked, steak had a little chew but wasnt bad at all!
All I can say, hands down best fish n chips in Frankston & not only that…. but, the prices so cheap. I have been to alooot of fish n chip shops around frankston, mornington peninsula & carrum downs. No chip shop is better, than this fish n chips shop.
The lady at the front counter was lovely, but unfortunately the food was disappointing.
Our go-to fish and chip shop was closed, so we decided to try this place since it had a 4.3-star rating. Sadly, it didn’t live up to the reviews.
The batter was so thick that I had to peel it off my potato cake and fish, leaving me with just the inside for dinner. The chips were the only part of the meal that were half-decent.
If you’re after fish and chips, I’d recommend ordering just the chips.
Great food and generous size portions. The prices are slightly cheaper than other places locally. Definitely recommend!
Ordered a Cheeseburger. Stale Bun. Worst Burger ever. I had 3 bites and through the rest in the Bin. Not worth the 20 Minute wait.
Can’t fault the fish & chips from this place also known as Pines Fish & Chips.
Some of the best I have had – could maybe season the batter a little more and cook everything longer to obtain a better crunch but still excellent regardless.
Beautiful Blue Grenadier, Epic Potato Cakes and Yummy Chips for a great price.
The young girl behind the counter was lovely.
