So disappointing.. not only were our fish and chips overly oily. Our burger which I specified only meat, cheese and bacon was wrong.
We’ve had issues here before but being our local we wanted to give it another go, not the right choice.
Young girl serving was friendly, but was micro managed by an older employee and I expect that’s how our order was incorrectly made.
Stay clear of this one.
Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Zero taste, oily as hell. Just moved to the area and towerhill was not open for our usual order. Couldn’t even feed half the family with a pack for two a 2 x kids packs. Didn’t have enough food to fit tiny box.
Firstly the staff were amazing and wee happy to have a chat to daughter and I. The food was awesome! Fish was fresh, potato cakes were homemade and delicious!! Anytime I’m out this way again I’ll make sure I’m dropping in for some good food!
Heath Hill Fish and Chips is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked into this immaculate shop, I knew I was in for a treat. The cleanliness is top-notch, giving me confidence in their preparation.
The highlight of my meal was the fish – so fresh it truly lives up to the phrase “from hook to cook”! It was perfectly battered, providing a delightful crunch with every bite. The light and fluffy potato chips were the perfect accompaniment, offering that satisfying crispiness that can so often be lacking elsewhere.
I must also rave about their hamburgers; they are among the best I’ve ever tasted! Juicy, packed with flavor, and made from high-quality ingredients.
To top it all off, the fresh salad brought a wonderful balance to the meal, and the friendly staff made the experience even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home.

Hooked on Heatherhill has been my go to Fish & Chip shop for a couple of years now. They cook everything so well, it is diffecult to find a product that is not delicious. The owner is a character and always quick with a story. Highly recommended!
Thought I would try this fish and chip shop as I just moved to this side of town, big mistake, big, HUGE.
I ordered 8 potato cakes only got 4 and they were inedible, all I could taste was dirty oil, could wring the oil out of potato cakes which left massive puddles of oil on the paper, ordered a burger with the lot and it came with no bacon, ordered a minimum chips for $6 only got a few and absolutely no salt on them. Deluxe chicken schnitzel roll The chicken was so thin it tasted like cardboard.
Will never be back, waste of $71
I was very disappointed, after having a long day at work i really wanted fish & chips.
I asked for grilled fish instead i got battered fish….it was dripping in oil so did the potato cakel.
Wouldn’t go there again

The fish is so fresh from flat head tails to flake salmon delicious!! Her prices are very reasonable for what you get highly recommend, this is now our go to fish and chip shop 💯
