    Amazing customer service by the lady that served us. She was really flexible with us swapping out an item in a Value Pack and just overall very nice to talk to.

    The chips were perfectly crispy and potato cake and flake batter was not oily or soggy. 🥔

    Would highly recommend if you’re craving good fish and ships! 🐟

    First timer but will be back as my other local closed. The lady at the front of house is just lovely, was nice to see her talking to the school kids. Yummy flake, great potato cakes. Can’t wait to explore the rest of the menu.

    This place does burgers soo good you will be thinking about them constantly. Like tonight, which leads me to my only complaint that they are not open 7 days a week so I can satisfy my burger cravings.

    The fish and chips are also cooked to perfection and great amount of salt.

    Since moving to Frankston some 8 months ago we have struggled to find good fish and chips (ironic being next to the ocean). I am fussy, this place is a winner.

    It’s so hard to find good fish and chips, after so many let downs from our regular fish and chip shop which has gone down hill the last year, we thought we’d drive a bit further from our Beach St regular.
    Hungry Zak’s is a bit of an extra drive but so worth it, the staff are friendly, the burgers are delicious and the fish is big and thick.
    This is definitely our new favourite fish and chip shop, highly recommend.

    My partner and I are (were) regulars here. Every Friday night without fail. Used to be unbeatable but has fallen off lately. Last week chips were undercooked, cold and soggy. Called up with a phone order this week and decided to head in early to avoid food sitting there too long as my partner is pregnant and must have hot food. Was told order wasn’t ready when I arrived so sat down and waited. Roughly 45 mins after ordering went up and enquired about my order, without saying anything bloke serving me went to the warmer and handed me a soggy package with no explanation as to why they never called my name. When I told him I’d been waiting for a long time he said nothing in the way of explanation or apology. Wraps were soggy from sitting out, my pregnant partner couldn’t even eat hers as the temperature was unacceptable even though we live 5 minutes away. Super disappointed and won’t be back again
