If you’re enjoying your Fish n Chips in the local area, but haven’t tried this place yet, YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO!!! 🤩🤩
There’s something different about what they do. I haven’t put the finger on it yet. Might be the oil maybe, I don’t know, but the taste is different! And better (according to my taste buds anyway).
I’m pretty sure they make the potato cakes fresh themselves, as they aren’t the standard shape you get from mass produced places. The clincher for me though is their batter 😍. They do something with their batter that reminds me of the old school fish n chips I used to get as a child. It’s the sole reason why I keep going back here. Let me put it like this, I LOOOOVVVES fish n chip shop burgers; yet keep getting fish whenever I go here. It’s a MUST TRY.
Get around it!! Support your local business folks. Better value, better from a nutritional perspective than Macca’s and the like. Do right by your family when you can’t be bothered cooking up a storm and give this place a try.
I bought a $45 pack, chips and fish are very dry, very disappointed
I ordered grilled fish and the fish was so tough. I couldn’t even break it apart with my fork. I have never eaten fish that is so tough. Isn’t the flesh of grilled fish meant to be soft? I purposely ordered from them to support local business however, I just lost my appetite because of this grilled fish.
Flake is not edible. Will not be ordering again.
Haven’t tried the fish before but the chicken wings are absolutely delicious and keep us coming back again and again
the service at this place is always so rude. she never makes eye contact and she’s always rushing you with your orders. we asked for a small flake and 2 dims sims. the dim sims have a dark meat in the middle that shouldn’t look like that. they also don’t taste right. the photo of the flake can explain itself. it was so tuff it was discussing. they also forgot my lemon so i ask for one and she just grab a lemon and hands it to me. also all there homemade sauces are just sitting in the heat waiting to go bad. it’s not professional at all.
dont go best look another fish shop there flake as small as a potato cake disgrace paid $9 a flake some chips I want to go in and say what this throw at her never again step near those shops
