I’ve been wanting to try this store for some time being a local. Unfortunately, my experience matches a lot of other similar reviews.
I asked for a grilled flake and 2 potato cakes. The server repeated my order ‘3 potato cakes?’. I said no, and clearly repeated my order. I wish that I checked my wrapped order before walking home.
What I recieved was the most overcooked ‘has been sitting around’ fried piece of fish I’ve EVER seen in my life, three old potato cakes to match.
I tried eating it, but I just couldn’t. There was no fish in that fried monstrosity. This is next level. This is not a fish and chip shop, and its emptiness is no mystery.
Best fish and chips around! Fresh, crispy batter, perfect chunky chips, and great service. Generous portions and tasty sauces. Always delicious—highly recommend! 🐟🍟

Never seen a kitchen so clean and tidy. No grease or bad smells, just clean and hygienic.
Their food is also amazing especially their fish and chips with extra chicken salt. Perfectly white and tender from the inside, golden and crispy batter on the outside.

located in Hawthorne, easy to access, comfortable dining area, quick wait for takeaway. And more importantly easy access to parking. I highly recommend this place especially with the staffs warm welcomes and presentations of the food which open an appetite.

Good prices and generous portions. Everything was freshly cooked, and the fish was very fresh. The breading was perfect crispy and not too thick. Definitely worth going back.
