Potato cake review: a light batter with a medium potato slice inside, I’m not certain if these are made in house by the shop. The potato to batter ratio is good, the medium slice is soft and well cooked.
The batter has a nice light crisp, but not the super crunch you usually get with homemade potato cakes.
No comments about the oil freshness as there was not enough evidence to confirm if fresh or old. Tasty chicken salt was a standout though.
I would eat these again and recommend as a good option – though not something I’d travel specifically for (unlike the Warracknabeal potato cake experience, see previous review).
Great friendly service and team seemed really efficient at their jobs. Souvlaki was tasty but chips not so nice tasting unfortunately. However I would go there again and try something else as everything else looked good
This shop does the best veggie burgers I have ever had!! The veg with the lot has everything (just ask for no bacon). It’s hard to find a comfort food without a dead animal involved. Highly recommend! Also, great potato cakes.
