It’s been a minute, and I know I reviewed this place before.
Traditional fish and chips, the kind you remember as a kid for the 90’s.

Worth a visit if you haven’t been yet.
The cleanest fish and chippery in Melbourne. Good food, cooked well. Only thing they needed was to have Chicken salt available
This is our local fish and chippery, we’ve been dining here since 2017. They cook fish and chips to perfection, always crispy and fresh! The owners are really friendly and the service is efficient. So grateful to have such a gem of a fish and chip shop in the area!

The food is fresh and tasty (we come for the potato cakes – yum!), the owners are polite and lovely, credit has a surcharge, cash accepted, local bands & events can display in store via posters/flyers, small selection of cold drinks, small bench seat for waiting, you can phone in your order to avoid waiting
Very surprised with the quality of the food. Fish is fresh and cooked golden to perfection, chips is not overly large but the value is there as it is one of the lowest price fish and chips compared to others. Always curious to try local fish and chips place. This store does not have flashy sign and quietly tucked in among other stores on the strip. Pleasantly surprised and will come back for more.
This was our first time ordering from Somerville Road Seafood & Chippery as our other go to’s were closed. Will be making this our regular and coming back. Grilled flake had a very light batter and was perfectly cooked and chips were crunchy but fluffy inside.
Lovely Family run business we always order the same every time Lunch pack with extra 2 potato cakes and is always fresh and delicious best potato cakes in the West honestly give them a go you wont be disappointed.
