Unfortunately the food quality has dropped significantly recently. Very disappointed with today’s purchase. I bought the calamari pack. And 2 fried dim Sims. I paid $17.30. The calamari was just processed mush. The serving size was unacceptable for the price. I actually liked the dim Sims but they were overcooked and felt like they were cooked in old oil. My workmates told me not to eat it, been regretting it all afternoon.
This place “was” the best in Melton.
Very Friendly staff, generous serving of chips and large fish portions. Fish was ok, but have eaten nicer but depends on which type you choose. Choice of battered or grilled was helpful.
I ordered the blue grenadier and chips. The price was a little under average. The chip serve was huge! The chips were a nice golden color, hot, soft on the inside, but not very crunchy. The fish was a very nice size and I have to say the freshest piece of fish I’ve ever had, it literally fell to pieces everywhere when I tried to pick it up wirh my hands to eat! If it was any fresher it would be jumping around. If you plan on eating fish in your car bring a fork with you!

I had Flake and my husband had Barramundi the fish white, thick and cooked perfectly.

Absolutely incredible service! Busy on Christmas Eve and still with smiles on their faces. Food is delicious- brings back nostalgia of old school fish and chips when I was a kid! Quality fish and chips. 😁
Was told great things about their quality but it was barely considered average at best. Oil hadn’t been changed in a while and the seafood seemed dried out.
You should update your Uber hours as says you’re open till 8 on Saturdays ordered 7:15 and order just canceled. Last time I order.
