VERY TASTY and good quality fish and calamari. I ordered fish, calamari and spring roll which came with fries.
The place was clean and smelled good. Service was great too, lovely people. They asked if I wanted Sea salt or chicken salt (which I guess the chicken salt is an Aussie thing and I have no idea what that is so it didn’t sound appealing to have chicken taste on my fish 😄so I chose Sea salt. Later I found out that apparently Chicken salt doesn’t taste like chicken and was told that it is tasty so now I have to back to try it and report back)
If you are in the area definitely go try the fish and calamari.
Busy fish n chip shop. Burger with the lot is good. However, our chips and potatoes cakes are way under seasoned and it doesn’t taste as good as expected, we usually don’t like heavy seasoning, but the one we had are pretty bland.
We didn’t get our 2 dim sims, instead we have two extra potatoes cakes, my partner is not happy about that. It’s a pity that it was not a good experience, that’s way I gave average rating of 3 stars.
I called and ordered 1 Flake with salt and Lemon.
I open the paper and they gave a handful of chips and a full lemon! – $10.50

I ordered a piece of fish and also got free chips with it. Im not sure if it was because they had run out of my preferred choice of fish, but I thought it was a lovely gesture and one that will tempt me to go back despite the poster on the door stating they barrack for a interstate AFL team! Lol. Their fish was incredibly fresh and melted in the mouth, the battery light with a crisp. The chips were a lovely golden color, well cooked soft centre’s and semi crispy on the outside. When you ask for extra chicken salt they actually listen! Average prices. Good shop, I will return.

100% the best fish and chips in melton. My mum has been going here for years and the ladies that work there call her by name and truely make you feel appreciated as a customer. I would give them 5 stars for food but sometimes things get forgotten such as spring rolls or our hotdog in batter but that happens and it’s definitely not as bad as other fish and chip shops in melton! Truely a great place, and has the best prices, 100% recommend!

Love the blue grenadier, very fresh and so tasty. Yummy thick potato cakes and golden fluffy chips just like I used to have back in the 90s.
Other Fish and chip shops have those fluro looking chips, not here, tasty old school fish and chips.

Husband loves the burgers and spring rolls, Generous portions and great customer service.
I purchased a bacon and lettuce roll that was full of rotten lettuce. When I called to complain the man on the phone started yelling at me, called me a liar and then proceeded to mansplain what wilting was to me as if I didn’t know the difference between rotten and wilted so I took a picture for you to be the judge.
