Quite possibly the best fish and chips in Melbourne! The fish is battered to perfection, light, crispy and not at all greasy. The chips cooked to perfection, light and fluffy inside with just the right level of crisp. Even the lemons are as fresh as the morning dew. Pricing is kind, as is the service. Good for take away for around 12-15min. Being from the UK I’ve had a lot of experience with fish and chips 😂🇬🇧 Worth traveling here from wherever you are to experience quality fish and chips 🐠🍟
I get fish and chips fairly often and have tried almost every fish and chips in the area, and there is no doubt in my mind that this is the best by a long shot!!!! I exclusively come here now every time. The fish always tastes like it’s fresh from the ocean and the batter is incredible, always crispy and delicious. The chips deserve a medal of their own, they’re consistently golden, crunchy, perfectly cooked and taste even better with chicken salt. Such an added bonus that the owners are so friendly, hard working and dedicated to providing quality service. Wish I could give it more stars, so if you’re looking for a new fish and chip place then I’d recommend stopping by no matter where in Melbourne you’re from!!!

Fabulous batter used for deep fried menu items, ingredients always fresh and service is prompt, friendly and always with a smile. One star is missing b/c more recently the portion size of blue grenadier appears to have halved compared with previous 6 months (and I have no idea why as the cost has not decreased). Otherwise, I think this an excellent fish and chippery in Mont Albert
Love our local fish and chips. Have tried other fish and chips in the area but the fish here must be superior as it’s the only fish my baby chooses to eat!
