Really nice owner ordered duo pack. The best CHIPS hands down. Crispy on the outside soft on the inside, the owner saw we were hungry and shouted us dim Sims and extra CHIPS. Best.local.fish.chips LEGEND
Good fish and chips is unfortunately a dying art in Melbourne these days…. I have been in the area for a long time and it was never an issue to find a good product, but now it is. George and Anna in Canterbury, David in Surrey Hills… all gone… such a relief to find a brilliant operator in the area ! One of the best fish and chips I have ever had. Faultless. Quite often the paper at the bottom of the pack is see through with all the drained fat – not one drop of fat here. Generous portion, well cooked, great quality, clean looking shop and pleasant staff. Thank goodness we have a good operator in the area again !
The shop smells clean, Customer Service is awesome 🤩! The price is very affordable!

We recently moved to the area and were excited to try out a local fish n chip place. After asking about the quantity of chips, I decided to order a large box for $11. Expecting to receive a full box of chips as per my order, I received one shallow handful as well the remaining of my order, which were numerous potato cakes and dim sims. If I ordered a box of large chips for $11, I think it’s fair to expect a full box of chips rather than a shallow handful with the extras on top to disguise this.
Grilled fish was really great, chips not too salty which is a common issue. Burgers also good traditional type. Great local shop.
If they can’t even take pictures of their real food and have to use AI to generate fake ones, the food must not be very good.
Orders a bunch of packs and they even gave a commentary bag of prawn crackers! Their onion rings are super chunky and unique in terms of the batter. Hit the spot!
I moved away from Surrey Hills a couple months ago and I miss this place so much. Their meal deals are honestly such good value for what you get, my partner and I would often get the Duo Pack. The staff were always lovely, if you become a regular they’ll absolutely look after you!
