Sadly my experience echoes that of the other reviews here. Food was mediocre at best & expensive. But the service from the owner was worse. Stuffed up my order, and after I drove back instead of an apology & simply fixing my order, he argued with me about giving me what they had forgotten to give me in the first place. Super unnecessary to treat customers like that. Plenty of other fish and chip shops around so won’t be returning.
So I have repeatedly placed phone orders and they always tell me 10 minutes pick up. And every single time they don’t start cooking until you go in and pay- defeating the purpose of a phone order…. I am now placing this review to warn others of this nonsense.
When I finally got my grenadier it was very small and not well cooked, and chips were soggy.
Recommend finding another fish and chip place. I will be from here on.
This probably the worst fish n chip shop I’ve ever been too my fish tasted off way too much chicken salt it was salt coming out of the paper that was rapped in my chips and dim sims tasted as if it was mixed with bananas and the serviced sucked these people should not be in business disgusting NEVER AGAIN
This has to be the worst fish and chips l have ever eaten, we had flake, chips, dim sims and potato cakes, the flake was absolutely dreadful, the chips were soft and life less, the potato cakes were like a wet slice of bread, 90% of the meal went straight into the bin.
Could be good but not worth the effort…
Did not listen, fish was poor quality, chips too many to make up for poor quality fish…keep going….
The grilled fish was like rubber,
The potato cakes had no potato in them and green
The Dim Sims were burnt
It was overpriced and we could not even eat the food

The team are friendly, polite, and professional every time we visit, and the service is always quick and welcoming. It’s clear the owner supports a hardworking team who genuinely care about customers. We’re lucky to have such a great local business — highly recommend!
DISGUSTING SERVICE, ESPECIALLY FROM THE OWNER. SOGGY CHIPS, WET POTATO CAKES & HALF AN ORDER MISSING. no refund offered because ‘they’re busy’. OWNER YELLED AT US ON THE PHONE – but we are the ones missing half the order! DISGUSTING. Absolutely disgusting. Service, Food & Atmosphere, disgusting.
