It is a takeaway place, so don’t expect a fine dining experience.
I’d recommend Lunch Box 2 (fish, chips & salad) for “healthier” option.
I found a hair embedded in the fish batter.
I so badly wanted to rate this meal highly because the value for money was so good. But this nasty surprise in the leftover flake I took home makes me regret how quickly I ate the rest of the seafood pack… gross.

This place is fantastic. Classic fish and chip shop vibes. Great fish and chips. Best potato cakes in the business. And mean classic burger with the lot!
The people there are always in a great mood and are Super friendly.

FANTASTIC FAMILY FISH FEAST!!
Well we were very excited by the previous reviews this shop had obtained – our second son ‘Grover’ carefully watches the local reviews – he said ‘Dad this fish shop has great reviews – give it a try!’ And so, we just did – there were four of our family in the feast – purchased was three flake – one plain hamburger with pineapple – four potato cakes – large serve of chips – when we arrived at about 6.30, ‘the joint was rocking’ – the shop was full – about 6 people serving and all customer service oriented – this is without any doubt a classic Melbourne fish shop, the one we remember as young children – DO NOT MISS IT IF YOU ARE VISITING MELBOURNE – it is as important as the American Donut van at the Victoria Market – FIVE BIG STARS!!
Solid, old school fish and chip shop. Very good potato cakes/scollops and decent sized flake. Chips good. Value good given all food is exp today. As an old inner Melb boy returning for AO, it was refreshing to exp a decent fish/n chip joint that was not too greasy and overcharging. Keep up the good work!
Traditional fish and chip shop run by a lovely Asian family. Had the lunch meal pack, and food was perfect. More of take away but a few seating options available. Highly recommended.
