Sadly the quality dropped with the new owners. Don’t see myself going back there. Chips were cardboard, potato cakes are frozen ones instead of home made like they used to be, i even asked if they were still home made and he said they were(obviously not). The onions rings are crappy little frozen ones instead of the delicious large home made ones. The only half decent thing was the fish. But for that price it should be better than that. Overall, the price has gone up, while the quality has dropped off a cliff. Very sad day. My favourite fish n chip joint for years
“I’m pretty fussy with my fish and chips and I’ve gotten almost nothing but perfection and this is my 6th visit in a couple weeks. Chips are perfect, fish is moist, burgers are stacked high 👌🏻 I’ll be coming here for a long time as long as the quality doesn’t drop”
Edit – Came back for first time since reopening and man, I think the foods gotten, BETTER! Ordered barra, schnitzel, chips, seafood sticks and a burger with the lot, and the chips were incredibly crisp and perfect as well the rest of the fried items, and burger was fantastic. So glad it’s open again – IMHO by FAR the best fish and chippery in the local area.
Consistently great fish and burgers, always fresh and crisp, never had a bad batch and have been coming over a year.
The best fish and chips! So fresh and not oily at all and really good serving size, have had twice now and fish fried and grilled is amazing and good quality even had it delivered and was still fresh and hot

Piece or grilled flake. The grilled flake was dry and tiny, the order was missing 2 dishes ( luckily because it was so expensive). Mild nasi goreng was so hot I couldn’t even have it in my mouth ( and I eat chillis) the spring rolls where enormous and slimy covered with batter, the satay sticks also dipped in batter. I have never been so disappointed.
This was the most overpriced and small portion of fish and chips I’ve ever had.
It was extremely oily and the flake was of low quality. Had pan fried dumplings also and they were not special.
Did not finish the food as it was inedible.
Save your money and go elsewhere.
New owners of the shop. Terrible! Way too oily shark, the owner didn’t wash his hands and was mixing all the batter with bare hands. No gloves or hygiene anywhere to be seen. The pineapple fritter was terrible!! First of all you don’t put sweet (what should be sweet) in with the rest of the food with NO sugar or cinnamon at all and it was flourer and thick. Waste of $27. Won’t be going back
