Oh my god! Lakeside special box $15, initially thought medium size however it more than that! Chicken pieces so well tender. Definitely will come back again
i have been coming here for many years and i have been pretty happy with the quantity of food provided.
however i brought 3 flake and 2 barramundi and found it had more batter to fish taking into account the price you pay for each fish i feel this was very poor considering the years i have been coming here. i hope this is taken into consideration as i do really enjoy this fish and chip shop. apart from the fish the dim sims and potato cakes were very flavourful and generous. if it werent for the fish being as stated above i rate this place as a whole for fast service and generous servings.
Their chips and potato cakes are our family’s favourite. Usually when you order these, they throw in a few mini potato cakes for free. Kids love them! We had to try another place because these guys were closed, and we realised just how good they are here!
Ordered fried dim sims, they were definitely not fried they were oil soaked absolutely terrible! My piece of fish wash mushy and full of oil! We spent over $40 and half was thrown out! Yes I know I should have taken it back but honestly I could not have been bothered! I just won’t go back ever again!
We had a family pack – chips and the fish were perfectly fried and the wife had a grilled fish which was so yummy!! Thanks for the additional mini potato cakes as well !!
Tonight’s dinner went to the next level.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and the mini potato cakes are absolutely delicious! Honestly, they’re the best potato cakes I’ve ever had. It’s so crunchy and perfectly cooked. The owner is also so lovely and always gives me a few extra. I brought my husband here and he said the exact same thing!
Well gave this a try and l can tell you l will never go there again.flake was black overcooked and you had to find the fish as the batter was so thick, no taste.chips were nothing, no taste and tasted like the oil needed changing. You pay for batter. Flake was so thin that all you tasted was batteries.
