Thank you to the wonderful team at Tribeca fish and chips for the amazing service that is provided every day I come in after work. The food is always freshly prepared/amazing quality. the owner/ gentleman that serves me is lovely to have a chat to and the NBA on the tv is a nice touch!! Thanks a million!
Where to start.
I never thought I’d give a fish n chip shop a 5 star, but here we are.
The menu is diverse and the largest I’ve seen in this kind of shop. There were so many things I wanted to try.
The server on the day was energetic and passionate about his duty, single hand taking on five or six orders at once without a fuss or sweat.
The food:
Grilled fish ✔️
Fried seafood pack ✔️ (plus my wife finished it so that’s added assurance)
Chips ✔️ and not your usual fish n chip style but good tasty chips.
Chicken wings ✔️
You know a quality fish and chip from the crunch of the chip, and boy were the chips crunchy. Everything is perfectly cooked. Curry sauce was amazing. Can’t get that in many places. Had a hankering for fish and chips and this place definitely hit the spot
You know you’ve struck gold when you find an OG Greek fish and chip shop. The epitome of good food and a pillar of Australian culture. After finding this place, I refuse to spend my hard earned money anywhere else!
As a fisherman myself, I can taste that the fish is fresh and of good quality. Don’t even get me started on the customer service, it’s top notch. They treat you like family and go the extra mile to make sure that the customer is happy, funny that…almost like that’s what customer service is about…hard to find these days in our society. These guys seriously rein-still hope in honest business. They are trust worthy , great people, great cooks and never miss.

Hi i love to recommend tribeca fish and chips the best Hamburg’s and souvlaki you must try HOME Made potato cakes. And great dim sims .MUST BE BEST IN IN THE WEST
Chris, the owner is knowledgeable about Celiac. They also have a dedicated fryer.
My daughter had fish and chips for the first since being GF for 3+ years.
Food was tasty and Chris was very pleasant and hospitable. I will highly recommend the place.
P.S. They don’t use beer in their batter so an additional plus for those who are looking for non beer option.
Amazing staff, amazing prices, and absolutely honest!! They accidently over charged us, we didn’t even notice, they found us in IGA and gave us the money back after she realized!! Please go and check out this amazing Aussie Store!! Well worth the drive the food is also AMAZING
The butterfish was so delicious, the egg bacon pineapple burger was superb. The meat patties are homemade and you can taste the quality.
Customer service is always on point.
We just tried this once last week and had been going back the 3rd time this week!! The fish is fresh and the potato cakes are delish! Everything was fried to perfection. The guy ( not sure of his name – Tim? ) was always friendly and smiley. The best fish and chips in this part of Melbourne. So glad it is just a 1 minute walk for us to grab lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!
