Good potato cake and chips but disappointed in the thinnest piece of flake that was covered in so much batter it was more batter than fish, crunchy batter layer on the outside but inside was wet/gluggy.
Pack for one was $17.
Will try them again for other things on the menu and the chips but won’t be going back for flake/fish.
Mmmm is so good, that’s what my kids said. Came here today with my kids, ordered 2 potato cakes and medium chips. When the food came out, they gave us 3 potato cakes because they saw 3 people.. SO NICE!! Batter was crunchy and chips were very good. Will definitively be back for more!!!😁
Needless to say, this fish and chips is one of the best in the area. We had fish and chips, calamari rings and dim sim. Each one was very tasty. They took a little time and made it very carefully. Their customer service is also very polite and commendable. An additional benefit was that it was a halal shop. It would have been better if tea was available in this shop.

I have just moved to Point Cook for 1 month. I have tried many fish&chip shops around but my experience at MC Fish and Chippery is still the best 5star. This is my 2nd time here, the service is very good – friendly, delicious-fresh food, cheap price, new oil. Glad to know this fish&chips shop. I will be a regular customer here. 5 star !!!
If the positive enthusiasm of the staff was put into ensuring the cooking oil was clean, perhaps I’d not have been so disappointed with what I was served up. The chips had that greasy/oily texture.
If I’m ordering a piece of grilled barramundi ($10) isn’t that some indication that I care about what I eat.

Very nice guy, decent wait for the food but one we got it, it was steaming hot and super delicious. Great local fish and chippery, tasty potato cakes and fresh snapper!
This place is so underrated, batter is crispy and the food is so fresh. The service was friendly and fast. My partner and I have both agreed this is the best fish and chips in the area hands down!
