The owners are very friendly and accomodating of the orders. I asked if I could replace an item in one of the packs and they said yes w/o any dramas. Food is great, cooked fresh and well seasoned. The place need a bit of updating but its a take away place anyway so there is no need.
Best chips in the area!! Recently moved nearby and have been systematically trying different Fish & Chip shops around the place, each a couple times. Been here a couple times now and both batches were on point – in fact I’d say the last lot I had were perfection. I look forward to coming back and exploring more of the menu.
The Chinese cook was rude and abrupt from the get-go … because I was taking too long to choose !! “ hurry hurry “ was her antagonistic quip. I said calmly , ok chill … you haven’t got what I asked for, so please let me select something else .
She then pre cooked my seafood sticks and they were “ airing” for 10 mins at least.
I reminded her I liked my fried order hot … so please don’t use those ones for my order.
She said, “ it ok it ok, they for another order”! I apologized.
Another few minutes passed and when the second stage of my order was ready … she belligerently dismissed my request and proceeded to add those Luke warm items to the rest of my order. !! Disappointed and frustrated ! I naturally challenged her on disregarding my request and off she went. Manically issuing a tirade of moans whinges and gripes, without once considering the bloody customer !
Surely I will NOT go there again on principle.
Shop in very poor condition generally which is a reflection of their attitude to the people funding their business
The food is amazing, easily the best in the area. The only concern is how slow it is to get your food.
The shop was empty, and I was waiting 20min for potato cakes.
Delicious food, and the chips actually reheat pretty well the next day if you don’t finish them all. The food items are reasonably priced, and the staff are lovely as well.

This place is always consistent. Fast service, decent price and oil doesn’t taste old like most FC places.
