First time here based on good reviews. Great fish and chips. Ordered fried flakes. Fish is fresh and not oily. The type of texture that I like. However the fish burger is not as delicious as I would prefer it to be. Dry and slightly bland. Friendly service. Most people takeaways as there are only 2 small tables available for dine in. Would be nice if there were more tables available.
Nice crispy batter on the fish, pleasant and obliging service, fresh battered prawns used for the seafood pack rather than processed crumbed prawns.
I have 2 gripes, which can hopefully be treated as suggestions for improvement:
1) They included so few chips with my pack that there wouldn’t be enough to feed a seagull, let alone an adult human 🤣
It makes them seem stingy, when really they could charge an extra dollar if they have to and include some more chips so customers don’t leave feeling hungry.
2) Don’t put a “seafood” stick in with a seafood pack. There is about as much seafood in those things as there is in a tub of tartare sauce! Perhaps just include tartare sauce instead, or some extra calamari rings, or a decent serve of chips!
Good quality though, as I said.
The best chips I’ve had in a while. Crispy on the outside, yummy on the inside. Not only or dry. Their prawn tails are real prawn, well sized and very tasty.
The hamburgers are awesome too.
We ordered take away and when we got home it was still very crispy! Perfect batter and the portions in the family feast was perfect! Staff was friendly and helpful. Best fish and chips in townz
We ordered fish and chips for a large family at the end of a very hot day at the beach and were delighted with the service not to mention the food which was absolutely delicious. Every single item was amazing we are so impressed and it was much cheaper than some of their competitors. WELL DONE 👍
Was in there yesterday, the 2nd of Jan, 2026. Ordered the twin pack which consisted of flake, chips, potato cakes and dim sims. The fish was beautifully moist, the best flake I’ve had in a long time. The twin pack was a terrific meal package at a terrific price.
I was served by a male who gave his service with a smile. They were very busy yesterday, I had to wait 30 mins, it was worth it.
After asking for a grilled fish it came out battered, I politely let them know which they were not happy about I was going to leave it but due to being spoken to so rudely I decided to ask for a refund or a new piece of fish. I was pretty much being yelled at with other customers coming up to me saying this is such bad service and that I should tell them to give me all my money back. They don’t refunds this apparently and were acting like it was putting there business under so I offered to pay for it which was declined yet I was told next time to tell them to just grill it…. Which is what I originally did.
Anyway moral of the story, fish was dry, chips mid and service horrible
Great fish n chips place. 2 pieces of flake, dimmies, chips and potato cakes for under $30 👌 and good quality and well cooked. Not overly oily and even threw in an extra potato cake😋
