Great customer service, however the quality was much to be desired! Lamb Souvlaki is a cheap cut of beef that is covered in horrible herbs to disguise the fact that it is not lamb. Very small oily minimum of chips (a handful at best) and flake was more like a piece of goldfish, small and dry.

Had the flake and chip pack and nuggets with chips. Was good! Service was friendly. Chips were tasty and cooked in fresh oil. Just wish the flake size could have been slightly bigger. Overall good experience
While the fish and chips were satisfactory, the exceptionally rude staff and their unwillingness to take responsibility for a wrong order were a significant problem. Instead of admitting the error, a staff member was impolite and insisted it wasn’t their fault. The poor customer service alone makes it impossible for me to recommend this place.
I just bought fish and chips from captain fish and chips but the chips are so bad. It seems as though they were old chips and just got re-cooked. It tasted so awful and from the colour you can tell it was over cooked…
This is the second time this has happened to me. And it’s so sad cause it’s so close to home but now I gotta drive to get better value chips. Even the dim Sims and potato cakes came out black rather than a golden colour.😔
We purchased the fish pack which consists of fish and chips. We were excited to see it wrapped in paper, but the contents inside were disappointing. A tiny piece of stale fish and some odd ends of old chips.
We actually had gone in to purchase chicken, but they don’t have that option.
Third time in a row that our order was missing quite a few items, even went through the order again with the person instore to make sure everything was there. Quality has gone down hill massively too, chips were very oily and not fresh tasting, fish had a disgustingly thick batter. Wont be going back again.
Been here a few times now. The burgers are horrible, bread tastes and feels stale every time. The ingredients inside the burger are poor quality, the meat tastes like rubber. The chips are not bad if they cook it extra, if they don’t they are soggy and oily. The fish batter is horrible, full of oil and zero flavour. This is a poor example of old school fish and chips and burgers. This place is in need of a total revamp of their ingredient choices, their quality of products and maybe some new enthusiasm. I tried supporting this business but cannot accept this poor quality of food. Hope it changes because good fish and chips shops are hard to find. The people are nice, but nice does not produce quality food.
I gave them a 3rd chance and the fish was not white very small piece to what they used to have the fish was grey. Potatoe cakes were half the size. Then I had pineapple fritter the batter wasn’t cooked inside. They have lost me.
