Absolutely feral experience. Made a phone order and was provided one price and paid a higher price when I picked up the food. The cheeseburger was disgusting with old & stale lettuce you wouldn’t even feed your worse enemy. Not to mention the rude lady who runs the place, would of much rather starved!
What happened? This used to be our go to fish and chip shop and everything used to be good quality, crispy and delicious…. We ordered takeaway tonight and it’s like we went to a totally different place! Everything was kind of chewy instead of crispy and tasted stale somehow. The kids flake was dry and thin (and chewy) and there were so many chips with black spots on them. Not enough chicken salt so we had to salt it ourselves. The quality has gone downhill fast. I’m so disappointed, what a waste of money.
People there are definitely the best fish and chips in my . Their minimum chips are $6.00 and can feed a family whereas the “large chips “ at KFC are currently $5.45 and feed only one person.

This place will provide you amazing quality Seafood range (highly recommend scallops the size of baby’s fists), generous serving of freshly made chips, flakes a foot long and so much more with great burgers. I cannot wait to discover and enjoy more of the menu. A light battery to give you that crunch but doesn’t outweigh the delicious food.

We tried Rosehedge when we first moved into the area, and 7 years later it’s still our number 1 go to for fresh fish and chips. Team are great always pleasant to deal with, foods good and always great portion sizes. 5 stars all round!
Shout out to Rosehedge Fish n Chips. On a day where Melbourne was the hottest day on the planet (as per the daily news), and they were extremely busy, we collected our order to find a couple of pieces of fish missing. Without hesitation, Paula arranged to doordash the missing fish to us. As always, food was excellent. Great Customer Service and much appreciated! Job well done! 👍🏻
Have been here a few time for the seadog they sell here as it’s the only place in Melbourne that does make it and it reminds me of the taste and how it’s made to exactly to the one’s back in Auckland, nz . Plus the scollops and mussels are on point too . I’ll be spreading the word on this little local gem of a place.
