Unfortunately Seafood D’lite has sold and have new owners..
The once tasty food is now terrible, even inedible.. service is also a bit poor.
They stuffed up our order, we had to go back to get a missing item (onion rings) we get home and open the box and they’re not even cooked properly as were the potato cakes.
Sadly we will never return.
I ordered a chicken burger for lunch, but it was extremely salty—I nearly threw up 🤮. Since I already have high blood pressure, I was worried this overly salty grilled chicken could make things worse. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
Ordered a burger with specific instructions for the meat to be well cooked throughout. Upon paying asked again and was assured it was well cooked throughout. Upon cutting the burger it was pink in the middle. Alot more pink in person than the photo does it justice.
Food was good. Staff were great with their greetings. And there was not a long wait for the food. The owner is super friendly and also checked on our table if everything was fine. Best part was I could bring my 2 dogs where I can sit outside to enjoy the meal. Will definately be back. Keep up the good work guys!
Nando alway have smile when you come to his fish and chips shop. The value for money and you cannot beat the tasty fish and chips. You need to try the classic burger which is mouth watering taste.
Ordered family pack . Potato cakes were tiny oily fish was not that good either. Batter was soft full of oil. Calamari rings were brown soft and so oily. The chips were about the only reasonable things. Sorry to say I doubt I’ll get from there again.
Solid local fish and chip spot in Sydenham. The flake is fresh and cooked well—not greasy—and the chips come out crispy with a good fluffy inside. Potato cakes are a highlight; they’re homemade-tasting with nice crunch. Portions are decent for the price, and everything’s hot when you get it home.
Staff are quick and friendly enough, shop’s clean, and it’s reliable for a classic feed. Burgers and souvlaki look good too if you’re after variety. Nothing fancy, but consistently good and better than a lot of other spots around the west. Will be back when I’m craving it. 🍟🐟
