About
Angourie Crescent Fish and Chips is a well-regarded fish and chip shop serving the Taylors Lakes community, open for lunch and dinner six days a week. With a strong reputation built across a solid number of reviews, it draws a loyal crowd of locals who keep coming back for generous portions and consistently fresh food.
The menu covers the classics done well. Fish arrives with a crispy batter, the chips are hot and satisfying, and the potato cakes are made fresh rather than pulled from a freezer bag, which regulars notice and appreciate. Calamari is a favourite with younger diners, and the hamburgers have also earned some fans. The Snack Pack is a popular choice for a quick, filling meal without a lot of fuss. Portion sizes are on the generous side, which is part of the appeal.
The shop has recently changed hands, and the new ownership has made a positive impression. Long-time visitors who had reservations about returning have found the food quality lifted noticeably, and the welcome from the new owner has been warm and personal. The casual atmosphere suits families well, with a kids’ menu available and the space set up to handle groups comfortably. Dine-in and takeaway are both available, the car park is wheelchair accessible, and card and mobile payments are accepted.
Worth a visit for anyone in the Taylors Lakes area looking for a reliable, family-friendly fish and chips experience. Phone ahead during the dinner rush to keep your wait short.

Awesome local fish and chips! The fish was crispy and fresh, chips were hot and tasty, and the service was super friendly.
We’ve been coming to Angourie fish and chips for a long time. I walked in tonight I was shocked to see that it had been sold to new owners, I was about to leave without ordering. The new owner said hello to me and he seems really nice. I did place an order got the pack 2 with 8 calamari as well. Got home and I was happy that it’s actually better than the previous owner. Such a nice family all working together good work guys I’ll be back.
I’ve been going to this fish and chip shop for over 20yrs and never was that impressed with the food as the oil wasn’t cleaned often enough, to my surprise the shop has changed hands so l made my normal order of one piece of flake, two potato cakes and two scallops in thin batter,
l will say everything was cooked to perfection, no aftertaste of dirty oil, this fish and chip shop will end up being rated the best in the west,
sooner rather than later.
Well done to the new owners and I’m now one happy customer and have been back on a weekly basis.
I highly recommend that you give it a go as I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
We went to angourie fish & chips tonight and notice the management had changed. We were really happy with the fish & chips. The fish was delicious, potato cakes were fresh (not frozen) and the hamburger with cheese was really nice. I will definitely go there again. Thanks

New owners here now. I have been coming here since I was young and it’s good to see the new owners are improving and making the food even better and with love. I definitely recommend everyone to come here. Keep up the good work guys.
A beautiful family‑owned fish and chip shop with genuinely delicious food. We went there for dinner and everything was perfectly crispy without being greasy.
The service felt welcoming, the portions were generous, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. Highly recommend for a comforting, quality meal.
