Gah dayum – I’ve found my new go to local fish and chips. Everything was fried to perfection and it was all super crispy and had supreme crunch. Had the potato cake (and they gave one extra), potato gems, dim sims, fish and chips. Everything was so delicious and of course it was seasoned with chicken salt.
Huh! I didn’t expect such crispy and juicy from the shop, I let my basis set aside and try this shop~~ turns out their fish is crispier than most of the fancy looking fish and chips shops run by hipsters in Fitzroy~
Joke aside, the fish is well intact around the golden crisp, and the chips is cooked with patience, neither soaked nor burnt.
Delicious! Absolutely packed on Good Friday – more business than usual, but still a good sign. Fish is nice. Serves are generous. I loved my burger with the lot combo, but my wife didn’t like the burger meat, saying it tasted like it had some processed meat mixed in. I couldn’t tell. Generous toppings.
Fish and chips are great. Nicely seasoned with chicken salt – crispy. I don’t mind the burgers, but my wife isn’t a big fan. Lots of combos. Really good! Great service – they offered us a free bottle of soft drink! Fast food service as well. Really popular at Easter.
Got fish and chips from here last Tuesday as we were in the area for a school Christmas concert and OMG hands down the best f & c I think I’ve ever had.
Everything was really hot, super crispy, and clean tasting. The fish was a decent size piece and was thick and juicy. Nothing had gone even remotely soggy the time we ate it.
Just wished I lived closer as this would become my local.
The guy cheerily humming while he cooked our food put a smile on my face also.
Was surprised. Must have changed owners. Ordered takeaway burger and chips, seafood sticks and received a free drink thrown in.
The chips were outstanding. Golden, they did not skimp on time or quality. The burgers were also very good. Patty tasted like meat. Very happy with the cheery customer service and food. Well priced for the portion. I think I’ve found my local F&C shop!
Great fish and chips fair pricing, nothing much to complain about. Got the fish pack with and came with a dimsim and 2 potato cakes, and got an extra flake as well

Please totally don’t try the deep fried mars bars… (because I want them all to myself) like the cinnamon sugar on the outside and the gooey caramel inside 😋
