This place has gone downlill since the new owners. Sping rolls not cooked through – onion rings overcooked and snapped into pieces. Souvlaki was bland and tasteless (I did ask for less sauce but got none). Was a 5* with the old owners. Shame its now on my banned list
Best Fish n Chips I’ve had in Melbourne – and the prices are very reasonable.
I got two sausages in batter, a chicken burger and chips.
The chips come wrapped in newsprint just like old classic fish n chips.
The taste was delicious, the chips were cooked perfectly and reminded me of the fnc’s in NZ.
The battered sausages tasted amazing as well as the Chicken Burger.
I’ll definitely be coming back.
I called today to report that the 2 grilled scallops we ordered were missing from our order.
What I got was a rebuttal from the person on the phone and then the owner saying that they gave us the scallops.
This is horrible customer service. I have been going to this fish and chip shop for over 10 years. The fact that they would not offer a resolution and basically accused us of lying was insulting.
We will never be going back to this shop again.

they dont offer offer tzatziki sauce only garlic and charge you more if you only want one meat type. The workers are also terrible i was standing by the counter for ages because they were all talking at the back. i am never coming back here again. Horrible experience!!!!!!!
I lived in this area for years and used to get fish and chips here all the time; the previous owner was so nice. I happened to pass by today and stopped in because my kid was hungry. I thought it was strange that the place was empty during peak meal time. We ordered a souvlaki, which was listed as $15.90 on the menu, but at checkout, they charged me $17.90.
When I asked about the extra $2, they claimed it was because I ordered ‘plain lamb.’ I checked the menu again and there was absolutely no mention of an extra charge for that. Honestly, it feels like they are desperate for money. I’m giving them a 1-star review specifically because of that $2 not because of the amount, but because of the principle. Charging extra for no reason is infuriating.
Ever since the owners changed the environment has been filthy inside; the stores not cleaned properly and i have to wait AGES ti be served! This is unacceptable and now everything costs extra even have only pork or getting a different sauce. i wanted bbq sauce in stead of garlic sauce and they charged me for that!!! the food was also disgusting the meat for dry and seemed like it was days old
Rude lady, thin fish, soggy, no lemon. Snatched the cash as I was pulling it out and when they grabbed too much she threw it back and it fell. Only decent thing was the chips
