I found ordering via their website handy, with decent price and portions. Chips were decent with good crunch and swell seasoned. Fish overly greasy and lacked resistance to the bite
I recently got take away from here and seriously could not fault them. I also had a special requirement with my order that they honestly exceeded my expectations with.
Everything was cooked spot on and had good flavour. Their chips are not the freakish yellow ones, but are just natural potato, which is becoming a rare delight, but something I want in a chip. The potato cakes were damn delicious, with a hint of sweetness to them that was really nice. The fish (blue grenadier) was lovely, and the fried chicken also hit the mark.

Tried this for lunch today and it was soooo yummy!! the fish was fresh and crispy. the prawns and the scallops were so big and cooked perfectly. Seasoned really well. The owners were lovely. Thank you
I had this $18 fish combo
1 Flake: batter are 40% crispy, rest are soggy but fish is fresh.
1 dim Sim: mostly soggy
2 potato cakes: only the sides are crispy
Golden chips: turned soggy very fast.
Also a can of soft drink
I ate about half and trashed the rest.

I ordered a steak sandwhich 3 potato cakes 1 flake and a corn jack.. Corn jack crunchy on outside Luke warm and mushy inside.. Steak Sandwhich Was burnt the steak itself was harder than a sheet of cardboard. Order was ready then they relised they forgot my potato cakes so had to wait another 5 minutes. Souvalaki meat is pre cooked wrapped in plastic and frozen they defrost it in the microwave then torture it more on the hotplate. What ever happened to a skewer of lamb with a bit of oil cooked in front of you with lemon..I have been going there for years ever since the greek family sold it off the food has hit rock bottom never going back again.
Note: I ordered my meal on Doordash so unfortunately I can’t comment on the service and atmoshphere. I can only comment on the food.
Really enjoyed the food I got here. I ordered a Burger with the Lot Snack Pack which included Chips and Two Potato Cakes. The entire pack only cost me $20. It tasted really fantastic. Burger was cooked really well, wasn’t too greasy and the Burger wasn’t convoluted too which was great. I also bought a Pineapple Fritter which was way bigger and juicer than I’ve had at other Chippies. I also got a Deep Fried Mars Bar which was really sweet, soft and gooey on the inside.
Overall I only ended up paying $26.70 for my whole meal (this total is not including a service fee for using Doordash or a delivery fee). It was amazing how affordable my whole order was.

The flake I had was quite good. Unfortunately I was sold scallops that were meant to be large ones ended up be extremely small. I asked the tall male of Asian descent why they were so small and dishonestly answered they shrunk. This was not possible for the portion I ended up with. He had a bit of a superiority complex and thought I would buy into his blatant dishonesty. Quite deceptive and insulting to make such a statement.
