My family and I love getting the fish and chips from them. Everyone has been raving about those in Freo but we think this is better. Good value and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Ordered a $15 fish and chips (Hake) to go at dinnertime, service was friendly and the food was ready in 10mins. It was good!
Normally when we order fish and chips from here the quality is good and serving sizes reasonable, if the fish is small they used to throw in extra to make up for it. Today we ordered 3 fish and chips and the fish was tiny like 3 bites and it’s gone and tasted like rubber. I think I will go elsewhere from now on.
Quite annoyed when an establishment can’t even get your order correct. Ordered fish and chips for 2 people. Order was received minus the chips. The staff member claimed we never ordered them. Will not be ordering from here again.
We always love coming here. Food is great, the people who run it are great and the service is great. We have another fish and chips closer but after a few bad experiences there we won’t go back and Atwell fish and chips is much nicer and the fish is so much better
The Best Fish and Chips South of the River
The fish is incredibly fresh, with a light, crispy batter that manages to be golden and crunchy without feeling heavy or oily. The chips are exactly how they should be thickcut, fluffy on the inside, and satisfyingly crisp on the outside. Portion sizes are generous, making it great value for money.
Ordered a large order that according to the website menu came to $177.00
WHEN WE paid it came to $191.00 and there was no explanation for the extra. Food was good but $15 chips was not enough for 9 people .
