This is one of the best fish n’ chips shops South of the River.
Peter, the owner, is really nice.
We always order the ‘large’ Hake every time we come in.
Plus we always grab a few deep fried Potato Scallops.
Some people complain the battered fish is a little greasy, but keep in mind, the fish is ‘deep fried’. Battered fish at all fish n’ chips shops is always deep fried, so of course it’s gonna be greasy.
The fish is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We always keep coming back!
We even had it again for dinner tonight.

Best fish & chips going! Great prices, batter is always crispy and awesome service. The owner is such a top bloke, always in a good mood and super friendly! Can get dinner for 4 for just over $40….cash only, no EFT.
This place has the rare accomplishment of providing consistently good fish and chips for as long as we’ve been going there, for many years. On top of that it’s always nice to see the owner there as he’s in a great mood and provides great service. Would recommend 10/10.
Been using this fish and chips for quite a few years. Never been disappointed with the quality of the food. The price is reasonable and the owner knows all his customers by name which is incredible
First time trying this place. Will not be going back, very disappointed with the size of the fish. They were extra small and very thin. As much fish as there was batter. Chips a little too soft.
Drove by on Saturday and saw the oysters deal. Popped inside and found that they do hot food ie fish and chips, pies, salmon patties.

The owner is a lovely man and let’s me take extra sauce packets. The food is great quality and my favourite fish and chips by far. We get a lot of food for the pricing to be well quality.
The best fish and chip shop in the area. Friendly owner always on staff. Always tasty and not super oily (but you know.. it is fish and chips 🤣). They don’t take credit card but will happily let you do a PayID bank transfer on the spot.
