About
Bennett Springs Fish and Chips and Burmese Cuisine is something genuinely different for the area. Rich, full of flavour, and made with care, it has developed a strong following among Perth diners willing to make the trip.
On the fish and chips side, the shop delivers exactly what you’d hope for. Potato scallops, dim sims, karaage bites, a seafood basket, and a family value pack round out a menu that caters to all appetites. Portions are generous, the food arrives fresh and hot, and the value for money is solid. The kids’ battered fish bites and loaded fries have also caught people’s attention as a fun alternative to the standard children’s meal. Gluten-free options are available for those with dietary needs.
The dining room itself is clean and welcoming, with a casual counter-service setup that keeps things relaxed. Staff are consistently described as friendly and hospitable, with guests made to feel at home from the moment they arrive. Families are well catered for, with a kids’ menu and high chairs on hand.
The shop is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with dine-in, takeaway, delivery, and kerbside pickup all available. It carries a well-rated reputation across more than a hundred reviews, making it one of the more reliably good spots for fish and chips in the Bennett Springs area. Popped by for some fish and chips but was blown away with an awesome new menu!
Loaded fries and delicious desserts! And I loved the idea of the battered fish bites for kids meal and loaded fries.. amazing!
Highly recommend this place if you want something a bit extra than fish and chips
Fantastic service; very friendly and courteous staff. Amazing range of delicious food to choose from.
Clean, inviting and aesthetically-pleasing restaurant. Portion sizes were generous, the quality was top-rate and totally value for money. Our order was well packaged, with the bonus of a carry bag. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved this place! Not only do they serve great fish and chips, but their Burmese dishes are incredible. I had the mohinga — hands down the best I’ve had in Perth — full of flavour and perfectly balanced. The eikyarkue was fresh and delicious too.
The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest people you’ll meet, and it really adds to the whole experience. Can’t wait to come back — this spot is a real hidden gem!
Went here on a Saturday for lunch. Had the Burmese noodle dish Moh Hin gar which was quite good. Owner was very friendly and service provided was great.
Lovely, friendly and amazing customer service!! Served and welcomed as soon as we walked into the store and was presented with a menu with a large vary of great options and exceptional food choices + prices.
Food served fresh, hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned and cooked on the inside.
Would definitely recommend giving this local store a try and see for yourself!
Outstanding customer service and fantastic food! My wife and I went there for dinner and were treated to truly delicious dishes. The staff’s recommendations were spot on and made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place—it’s the best Burmese restaurant in Perth. If you love Burmese cuisine, this is definitely the place to go!
It has been a very long time since I have had great fish n chips.
A spur of the moment hankering for fish. Ordered the first thing I saw ‘King Snapper and chips ‘ $13.50. And additional 3 crab sticks $5.
Batter was absolutely delicious, thin and crispy.
Snapper cooked to a wonderful texture, very tasty. Was given a Burmese tea to try, it was so lovely.
As a non local, I would definitely visit if im out that way again, thank you.
I have never met such wholesome and loving people. If you want authentic food and to be treated not as a random customer, but as if one of their own family members just walked through the door, then look no further.
The food is amazing. I thought it was just a regular fish and chips store, like all the others, not realising that it’s basically a Burmese restaurant that also happens to make your favourite fish and chips related cuisine (fish, chips, crab sticks… etc).
